Skirt suit

I recently fitted a lady for a skirt suit, a lovely lady from a local accountancy firm who regularly shops at Long Tall Sally as she struggles to find clothes to fit her height. After being introduced to Head & Griffiths at a suiting event held at her workplace she got in contact as she was interested in getting a suit for herself.

When I delivered the finished product to her I am very pleased to say it fitted her perfectly! I am particularly pleased because this is my first womenswear fitting that hasn't needed any adjustments. My measuring skills are obviously improving and I'm feeling more and more confident at carrying out fittings.

It was a really great example of how the high street just doesn't cater for the average woman and how bespoke can be really beneficial. There are very few (if any) women who are the same size as a mannequin and to get clothes that fit, especially something as structured as a suit, is incredibly difficult.

My customer looked great in her suit, it fitted her correctly flattering her height and the fabric choice was suitable for her colouring and also for her workplace.

Hopefully when she wears the suit she will feel fantastic knowing that she's wearing something that makes her look and feel her absolute best.
